B&W 802 NAUTILUS VS JBL 250TI CLASSIC

i am vito from italy ,i live in mola di bari in south of italy,i purchased jbl 250ti classic that i sobstitute my b&w 802n.our opinion were is? i have catsl1signature,ml23.5 with moster cable 1000i and m1500,sw maestro,source teacvrds25x with aalchemy.i hear that jbl is delicate i mid high section but in woofer section i don't like because the woofer is refoammed.were is the time of the woofer sound for the best performance.i have modified cabinet with spikes and art cube.i want our opinion because you don't speak of the chain hifi. sorry for my bad english thank you vito diperte.

I am in China, also bad English.
Did you compare the woofer between B&W and JBL? What's the difference?
And what kind of woofer it was? I mean is it a Close box, or vented box?
I am not clearly acquainted with those HIfi system.
And I need all of you friends to help me.

Both B&W Signature 800's and L250's.

I can not say that this would be a fair test as the JBL's are 25 years old and speaker technology has come a long way for cone type drivers. Crossover components have changed as well. I like the mid and high's of my B&W's but I like the LF better on my JBL's, That said the JBL's sound great for thier age and I have always wanted a pair. I love the old JBL sound and so I will never get rid of them. I also like the detail of my B&W's so I will keep them too.

I currently have have a pair of mint B&W 801 Matrix Series 3 speakers and will be comparing these to a very soon to be acquired pair of JBL XPL-200 speakers mated with a pair of DX-1 crossovers.

I'm expecting a great shooutout as the 801's have excellent tight low bass extensions and can't wait to see how they compare with 200's. Having the DX-1's will be a bonus and maybe an unfair advantage over the 801's. :D

Once I get them I'll keep you all informed of my findings.
