What's the story here? Is the E145 an "H"-version of the AlNiCo-powered K145? Please help me out!

No they are different animals. Take a look at the T/S parameters. Moving mass as an example.

Rob said no, they have different TS parameters... I would have answered, yes, but they are slightly different with different TS parameters. K=alnico, E=ferrite, they are similar but not exactly the same and have slightly different recone kits.
Now my question is what frame can become a K145, if any
Only the K145 frame it is an LE15 motor on a unique basket.
-Just looked at the goes into list... there is also a M45-6... what's that?

no clue what the m45-6 is... oh well time to look for some 145s now

The M45 is an 8 ohm, and M45-6 is a 16 ohm OEM version of the K145.
Unfortunately, I don't know what OEM. I bet if we saw one, we'd know what it is though:) .

Both in same reflex (150l) with same duct.
There is no great difference ecept max Power of K 145 in low region.
