info needed on lx2 crossover

Hello-
I recently got an old pair of LX2 xovers- any info anyone has on them would be appreciated. For ex.- polarity issues-
The in terminals are marked B & R-?
The Lf out is marked 1 & 2, The Hf out marked 3 & 4. There is also the mystery knob in the center marked 6000,3000,or 1500. Thanks in advance for any info!

B = Black input
R = Red input (+)
1 = Low frequency output +
2 = Low frequency output -
3 = High frequency output -
4 = High frequency output +

Mystery knob = output level.

Mystery knob is crossover frequency on that model, I believe.

There's a separate attenuation knob....
