Here's a pic of my creation.
Not immaculate - far from it. But it is quite functional. This is the first. the second awaits crossover fabrication.
Thanks to everyone for their input.

Looks like a winner. LE10a, LE5-?, 066 and 4313 x-over?. We are definately alike in regards to "creating" hybrids. they look terrific, Good job :applaud:

BTW, refer to my "Recover your own grills" post if you need any help with that end of your project :)

Reminds me of a pair of L110's I had...they had a somewhat tighter bass imaging than the L100's and those beautiful blue grills...NICE! :applaud:

I had to scale the sketch down a bit. Also the Tweeter opening is smaller for the 066 than the 044.

I used one of the ports that Giskard sent me and the only good stock 4313b cross that I have.
I ended up using a CD stack cover cut down for the LE5 subenclosure. I used some tigerhair fiberglass to encase that enclusure with, so I'd say it was pretty rigid.

LE10A, LE5-2 for the moment - LE5-5s arrive this week, and 066.
I have a pair of LE10-H1s that may find their way in here soon. I dunno. I'll mess with it to see what sounds best.
As for the grills, well your article will be very helpfull, but umm... I think I need to significantly alter my grills or create completely new as the L40 grills I have don't fit in stock form. They block the LE10 on the bottom inch or so and the top, while it doesn't cover the tweeter dome, it does infringe on the tweeter area about a half inch.
