This question is for you DIY types. What would be a good standard high quality hookup wire to use for audio projects. I want to buy some in bulk.

I need suggestions for power supply hookup wire including type and AWG. I also would like suggestion for line level wire AWG and type. I can pick up some mil spec silver coated copper with teflon outer jacket for pretty good prices.

Thanks in advance.

Ken

If it is a good price then go for it:D

Teflon jacketed (ptfe) seams to be about the best out there and as long as the quality of the copper or silver is good you should have no problems.
Also read this post if you have not as there is a lot of info on wire in general:

Maybe B&Kman will contribute as well:)
