Having a bunch of these around I decided that the same old story about no replacement diaphragms being available so there is no interest in them, had to go!!! so i set about solving the problem. My new "Frankendriver" is ferro-cooled,is 8 ohms, goes over 18khz. and is field replaceable rather inexpensively!!Let me know what you guys think!Especially the third pic!!

My friend Jonathan Weiss in PA does have a quantity of NOS RCA phenolic replacement diaphragms available for the 9400 and 9500 series compression drivers. He can be reached at [email protected].
