Hello,

I have recently inherited two JBL speakers from my Dad. I grew up listening to music off of these speakers, but am ashamed to say I have no clue what model they are. My parents bought them in the late 60's/early 70s brand new. They are 2 ft x 3ft (sit horizontally) and were made in Los Angelas, CA. The Network is N1200 and the type is 037 "Enclosure".

Also, they need to be restored. Can any one tell me who in Nashville, TN is the best at restoring Lansing speakers?

Thanks,

Chill Jones

My guess, is that with that network, you've probably got a C37 "Rhodes" system, with the 130A 15" woofer and the 175DLH mid/tweeter horn setup. That was the "standard setup" in those cabinets... you could option other JBL drivers in there, but it would require adapter plates and different crossovers and such.

As for repair- what kind of restoration? Driver reconing? Cabinet repair?

Regards,
Gordon.
