Substitute woofers in L-112 Cabs

Hi All,
Seeing the success I've had with replacing the 128H in the L-150's with the 2214H, I'm now trying to find a pair of either on Ebay, but nothing yet. This is to stuff the empty cabs my buddy picked up last month. Crossovers are on the way and should be here tommorow. I've got a single 128H, but damn, if I can find the other one! How do you lose a 13-15 pound 12" white JBL woofer? I don't know. But are there any other 12 inchers that might work well in this cab with minimum X-over mods to the stock L-112 crossover?

- If it was me. I'd buy a pair a le120h woofers direct from Harman or some motivated retailer who sells Harman Consumer .

- ( at @ $ 200. list, its a great deal plus this way you get a warranty & some accountabilty / remember that ? ) .

- Forget eBay ( except to sell your lonely 128H ) .

- The word on the street about using these woofers is to essentially treat them as a more modern day 128H . They also look way cool with a squared-off frame . :D

- ( presently used in the L7 and L90 ( Europe only ) , among other products )

Wow, thanks for the recommendation, but at $400 a pair, they're just about as expensive than a decent pair of used L-112's. I did take look. The cabs I got are pretty used and completely stripped out. Even the grills and foil-cals are gone. I want a pair of companion speakers for the L-150's and I don't mind the Ebay route or even a fellow member (which I've done before).

- How about buy one now ( & maybe a second le120h at a later time ).

- This way the immediate cost differential to buying old clag is only about a $100. ( if I remember my relative eBay prices for used 128Hs ).

- You could also look at getting an older 122a-1 . As I understand it, this is the alnico predecessor to the 128h . I'd look for the later 122a-1 model since I think it's closer to the 128h than the original 122a . Others around here may know better .

- Now, You could always commit an "audio crime" (IMO) and stick a high Qts 12" ( like a 123a ) into that L112. Now, some around here may stop talking to you - but hey , that's the way it goes :D

Why not get a single, or a pair, of 128H-1s? Exact acoustic equivalent to the 128H, and used for much longer in production...in fact, they're still available new, though that may defeat the purpose (similar to the LE120H), due to price...
