Jbl C-36

My friend has these beautiful JBL's hat he wants to sell..but does not have any information on them. They seem to be in original good condition..
How can we date this model based on the nameplate .. the speakers seem to be in excellent condition..I would like to get more details on them before making him an offer..Appreciate all your help with this..Thanks

Look here for some info from the 1962 catalog (http://www.lansingheritage.org/images/jbl/catalogs/1962/page20-21.jpg) .

- The components in your picture appear to be a D123 woofer with a le20 tweeter . Crossover wasn't shown - but likely a LX4-? of some sort .

- Do a search on eBay to obtain some relative values for those specific speaker components .

Thanks for the quick response..I have posted the crossover pic i am not sure if this tells you anything about the components..I will check in ebay..but do you have any views on if these are popular models??
