LE25 repair kit

I recently scored a LE25 tweeter recone kit on ebay.

However the seller was unable to advise me on what adhesive to use for attaching the dome to the cone.(none was supplied but its a genuine JBL kit)

Has anyone done this recone before?

hi ian ,

the real glue is bostic adhesive ,but if you dont have it ,if you have ever purchased a surround kit you can use the glue that came with them ,the white or yellowish ,i have used both to recone ,the white in my opinion is the least prefered, but i have a driver (le25)done with the white(dries clear) going on 2 years and it is holding up just fine and i use it daily, again the bostic adhesive is what it comes with originally from jbl , hope i helped.

The glue to use is BOSTIK MULTI BOND usually available at your local hardware
