250Ti only

Thank you to Don C. for putting me on track for 250Ti upgrades.
I also feel the next step for me is to build two 8 or 12 sq. ft. subs using the 2245H. I'm considering using separate NHT X1 crossovers for the sub and the 250's as my preamp has separate inverting outputs and is a high current model so I could easily drive the separate amp for the subs. Any considerations from those having done this?

You need to figure out how to use this forum, Pete.

Thus far, you have started 7 threads titled "250Ti only." Very confusing.

Pick ONE of them and post your questions there rather than continually starting new threads on the same subject. That thread will rise to the top when someone replies.

Then, continue your discussion of 250Ti issues in that same thread so others can follow it....

I've had great success using the Audio Control Richter Scale III crossover. You can plug in different x-over frequencies (I'm using 40 Hz) and it has a built in e.q. just for leveling bass frequencies. That helps tame room bumps, but you can also use it to add the boost that the BX-63A provides, although in 12 cubic foot cabinets, I've never found the need for the boost.

Anyway, that's one option. There are plenty more out there.
