I have a line on a single JBL 4645 18" sub for about $150... I believe it to be original 2225H woofer due to the rippled cone, but have not popped it out of the cabinet yet.....

anyone have experience with this unit....

what is the power handling spec? how low does it go...

the cabinet is a bit rough, but I could just cut replacements to the bad sides and stain them to match my ALtec 19s.

Basically looking for some low end supplement to my 19s, will these fit the bill?

Thanks....

The original 4645 used the 2245H.

Here's the 4645B - http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/4645b.pdf

Ah!

Well, that doesn't have quite the same VLF impact as the 4645 but it does sound good!

If one was so inclined one could put in a 2235H and tune 10 Hz lower to achieve a 15" version of the 4645 (2245H version).

Nice price!

will need to rebuild the box itself for sure.... not a bad sound for having a cab in such bad shape....

now, if I was to just to pop a 2235H in there -- how would I then go about tuning it lower?

and why didn't it just come that way?

But a good deal none the less...... :applaud:
