:o: Hi everyone:
As a new I am the proud owner of a pair of L60T'S from the mid '80's. I'm very satisfied with their performance, especially the dynamics and frequency response. The bass is amazing. I've yet to hear a muddy or boomy note. Does anyone have their specs? I've searched to site with no luck. I'm in a tweaking mood. Should I replace the crossover caps? I am considering North Creek (metallized film) 6 Uf @ 250V bypassed with Angela Sequa (PIO) .1 Uf @ 600V. Or, should I get a pair of L5's? My amp is a vintage Yamaha CA-810 (65W @ 8 ohms, 80W @ 4 ohms).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
Dennis

Thanks Giskard:
That helps a lot. Mine are natural wood with black grills. I suspect they're an original '85 version. The surrounds are still in excellent condition. I have thed them apart. The insulation is yellow in color and feels like fiberglass, is only 1" thick. I'm surprised that the drivers are not caulked or silcone sealed. They're just screwed down to to the cabinet on spaced with a thin plastic ring. But the overall fit and finish is excellent.

Dennis
