I just thought you guys would like to see "backup" for when the power goes out this summer. If I really want some "punch" I have another horn I can use with a crane about 48" long and 21" in diameter. Best listening position is on a ladder approximately 6 feet up. A side note is that the recordings sound almost identical on my 4412's with the exception that I hear the rumble much better on my JBL's! LOL Try it for yourself...

What year was that cylinder player made? My ex- wife has one very similar, but it says "Edison Bell Gem Company" on it. Think it's from England - built in 1894. The Henry Ford / Greenfield Village Museum wanted me to donate it to them. They only had one cylinder player that was older.
The horn got thrown away years ago. What a bummer........
Think I'm gonna try to talk her out of it. Wish me luck.

It is model A which dates about 1901 I think. You can probably get a horn for it if you watch Ebay long enough. Make a god conversation piece, and REALLY MAKES YOU APPRECIATE BEING BORN MUCH LATER!!!!!! :applaud:
