hi ,

does anyone have any info on the century gold speakers i have the opportunity to buy a pair at a decent price ,hope he will go a little lower, but i have never heard a pair and wonder if anybody has had a chance to demo a pair or maybe one of our fine members has a pair and can share their experience with me ,they are in mint condition and look great.

would you be able to compare them to L112s , or 240ti s i have both of them to compare them sound wise ,i know i like the look of them , so i take it you would give your expert approval on their sound quality.:applaud:

p.s. i just picked up the 240ti s and i must say they sound awsome ,i just think i need more power to drive them properly

I heard them about seven years ago when they were still in production. I thought they were an excellent system. I heard them A/B'ed against a Tannoy Westminster that was four times the cost and even the shop owner agreed the JBL's were significantly better. If you're not aware, they sold for $5,000/pr up until they were discontinued in 1999.
