Hi all,

I'm looking for two LE15H or equivalent woofers. Would the 2215H do?

It doesn't seem to appear from JBL's otherwise excellent transducer replacement list what the equivalent(s), if any, of the LE15H are.

I'm now in a position to answer my own question, after having studied JBL's list of Thiele-Small parameters:

LE15H and 2215B have the same Thiele-Small parameters, so only the colour and other cosmetics can be different.

The LE15H and the 2215H are identical. While the LE15H and 2215B may have the same T/S paramaters, they may sound slightly different. The different magnet materials and topologies do result in performance differences that may be audible. Generally the "H" versions have lower distortion than the Alnico predecessors.
