I recently acquired a nice pair of Altec 400B Diacone speakers and would like o know if someone on the forum gets Altec enclosure drawings for such speakers or where i can fond out such information.

THESE ARE 8" SPEAKERS . USE TO MAKE CABINETS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WITH ALTEC PANCAKE PEAKERS. GREAT FOR NEERFIELD.

The 400B is not a musical instrument speaker. It was an early full range driver (introduced in late 1940's) that was 8" in diameter and used an aluminum center dome in place of a dustcap. JBL developed their D208 to be a direct competitor. There is a limited amount of information on the following page along with compatible Altec enclosures from that era:
