See what long winter nights'll do to an othewise rational forumite?

Mutual coupling gonna make them somewhat peaky at about 10 Hz looks like. :D

The government is gonna be inquiring about your proprietary submarine excitation project experiments.

Maybe you can get a GRANT! :D

make sure you warn the earth quake registration center before you start playing. They may hear you and think its a quake.

Your twin bass towers remind me of the twin towers used in the $ 80,000.00 Martin Logan Statement E2 system I heard (felt) 3 times. This system uses 16 - 12" bass drivers, 8-per side, and was the most awesome bass performance I have heard. It literally knocked the pictures off the walls in the display room and rattled everything that was not firmly attached. It was great! You might check to see if your landlord has seismic damage insurance. Also, the high SPL's might blow some window seals in the thermopane windows in your listening area if there are any there. You might check your drywall periodically for cracks, separations and nail pops. Otherwise, have fun and enjoy! It should be a fantastic bottom end for your K2's! Great job!

Tes the statement towers are cool. The Statemenst was somewhat the
idéa to copy. This is bigger and more heavy.

Subwoofer design is to cancel acoustic room modes,
acoustics you know !! :) Itīs not SPL that is the couse here :barf: !

wow !!! exicting project...
:applaud:

it is possible to explain more...

what is size of room, modal reponse calculated and mesured,

the position phase,

what the result??

house resist ??

I haved a special earthquake project with 2 X 30" electrovoice...

each is equal to 5 X 15" 100dB 1 watt !!! total value 10 X 15"

My idea is saw a hole event port directly on floor and put driver just botton of floor with no box because .. in this the free resonnace is 12 Hz. i connected this monstr in eQ and cut high frec in arround 35 Hz . so no directivity effect.

I loose project because this system is create too much infrasound and it is really too much for structure of house with common side wall with other houses... I have a town house with no gap interhouses. (sic)...

see compare size of the monster with my 4343 with 15" LF
