They still call it a DD67000: http://www.avcat.jp/main/avnews/files/2019/06/DSC_7526.jpg :dont-know:

What's more interesting here IMO is the new expansion studio monitor series
85765

Looks like 12" or even 10". If they really market (and design!) them as JBL PRO studio monitors they will surely fill a gap between the 708 and the M2 :)
I wonder if the compression driver in there will be the D2415K.

I have heard they have stopped making the drivers. So it probably is someone else.

At this point, I wonder if there are any sonic changes or if the photoshop job indicates that they are simply buying an Radian compression driver because the capability to build the drivers in-house has been lost.

Well they have already "partnered" with BMS and Selenium on drivers.

I wonder what they will do with JBL pro and Touring sound products like VTX etc.
That stuff is cutting edge , surely they are not going to dump that ??

It has the M2 horn with a 12" woofer and an internal passive crossover. MSRP $3,750 each. Here's the info I got today:

Designed and engineered in JBL’s world-famous acoustic engineering facility in Northridge, California, the 4349 Studio Monitor is a showcase of patented JBL acoustic technologies. This monitor loudspeaker features a 2-way design with patented High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) horn technology, the patented D2415K dual 1.5-inch (38mm) compression driver, and a 12-inch (300mm) cast-frame, pure-pulp cone woofer for powerful dynamics and incredibly accurate sound reproduction.

JBL’s revolutionary High-Definition Imaging horn geometry is the result of intense research into the nuances of horn design. In search of exceptional high-frequency detail and uniform directivity for smooth in-room response, JBL engineers pioneered a design that delivers neutral frequency response both on- and off-axis, and provides a seamless transition between the high and low frequency drivers.
