JBL Blueprints.....

Anyone here kind enough to sell a copied blueprint for the C51 Apollo's to me? I've acquired some of my Dad's speakers and would like to frame a copy of the plans in the listening room. Thanks in advance

Daddyo: I think I have a set of the C51 Apollo drawings somewhere, as I remember it some 4 or 5 sheets 4 by 3 ft or so. I bought the drawings from JBL in around 1970 and subsequently built a pair. Somehow I even managed to buy the fretwork grilles from JBL, they came in a flatpack unassembled and unstained. I can have a look and also check if it is possible to copy such a big size of paper.

You wouldn't settle for C56 Lancer 101 drawings...? They are easier to find

OK, so far I´ve sourced the C56 drawings and I have a fair idea where the C51 drawings might be. I´ll find out coming weekend. Meanwhile I have checked with a local print shop on pricing. It seems that a copy of each set would cost around 70-80 USD in all, and mailing to the US perhaps another 10. So it might altogether set you back some 80-90 USD - how does that sound to you? I guess it will take a week or so to process the drawings.

OK, so I have now the two sets of drawings (C51 and C56) ready to send to you. Can you please send me your address and I´ll try to send the drawings asap. Cost lower than expected, all in all 50 USD.
