I am restoring a pair of L150A and was wondering what a proper sonic replacement would be for the Le5-12,i dont really care about the looks just there true sound. New to this site so please forgive me if Im not in the right forum.

You can still find used LE5-12 pretty easily, places like eBay.
The LE5-10 and LE5-8 are exact replacements as well.

Thanks for the info,should i stay away from speaker parts places replacements? It would always bug me knowing they wernt as original as could be,but if they sound the same then i would maybe consider it.

There really isn't a compelling reason to even try one of the "replacements". The originals are available and generally seem to work.

BTW, you could use the 6, 8, 10 or 12. the 6 and 10 are black-face, the 8 and 12 are polished.
