I have a pair of Altec 806A drivers and thinking long term I am considering purchasing a spare set of diaphragms. Great Plains offers a 8 ohm and 16 ohm replacement diaphragm but they are not specific to the 806A or 806-8B. It seems they offer a one-size-fits-all product, which is understandable.

So with the GPA diaphragms, will all of the listed drivers perform the same?

Part # 34647 Diaphragm original GPA for 604/802/804/806/808/902/909/605 -8 ohms

Part # 34852, Diaphragm original GPA for
604/802/804/806/808/902/909/605 -16 ohms

I can’t give you an answer across the board. But, I will say that I got a pair of 902’s from them and they got attached to my 811B in a pair of Valencia’s with fantastic results compared to the OEM 806.

I don't see that they offer complete drivers on their website, only replacement diaphragms. How long ago did you purchase it?

It looks like they’re having major tech problems with the website. The drivers don’t show up for me either.
I would suggest you give Them a call, ask for Bill.
