This Lennon/McCartney song was also given away to Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas. It was tailored to their colleagues who were also managed by NEMS' Brian Epstein. Also this one was produced by George Martin. BBC recorded a Beatles version of "I'll be on my way" appearing on "Beatles Live at the BBC" Vol.1.
Listen also to the version on CD "That means a lot" reorded by "The Saltbee". They are the fantastic Swiss "Songs the Beatles gave away"-tribute band. "Saltbee" is an anagram which means a lot ...

Let me introduce to you: "The Swiss Beatles". What a hit 50 years ago! Band leader Toni Vescoli is still on the road in Switzerland these days: solo, with the duo and with "Sauterelles". Bravo Toni!

The "Swiss Beatles" made POP history in 1964 with 45rpm "Hongkong". This is the 1973 reedition. In 1964 they had supported the Rolling Stones in Hallenstadion Zürich. Sauterelles are still on the road these days. Hope, also the Rolling Stones will soon be on the road again...

Swiss Krautrock recorded in 1971-1973. Swiss people (at least the German speaking part of Switzerland) also have a rich Sauerkraut-tradition as the Germans have.
This one is the Swiss "Birth Control" plus "Spooky Tooth" plus "Atomic Rooster" and "Audience". Extraordinary vocals by Richard John Rusinski.

A typical product of the 80ies: a little bit of Jazz, a little bit of Latin, a little bit of New Age, a little bit of Soundtracksound, a little bit of Yello and AN OVERDOSE of synthesizers. Drum programming was everything then. But: the drum-kit should be everything!
A very respectable Swiss guitar player anyway (Ex-Shivananda, Yello)
Whatever became of Chico Hablas, anybody knows?

First great Swiss Rock Lady with a little help from German/Austrian studio musicians Hartmut Pfannmüller/Christian Kolonovits and others. She was called "The Swiss Chi Coltrane". Rock for the Lady! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWJowh1YsI0

Very very rare one. Don Nicoloff: multiinstrumentalist, pianist, composer, arranger, producer from USA? Did he just send some basic tracks to Powerplay Studio in Switzerland or did he really meet these premium Swiss studio cracks? The Keiser Twins dr/b, Thomas Moeckel superb guitar solos, Jim Duncombe g (Jimmy and the Rackets).
Some very fine and funky Jazzrock, Fusion and a pinch of Disco, some with big orchestration. Too much of everything with a tendency into Smooth-Pop-Jazz.
It's a pity. More would have been possible.
No appearance on youtube. Few infos on Internet.
Does anybody on this forum supply more information about this peculiar record?
Listen to superb track B2 "Nepalm" (sic!). Am I the only one on this whole wide world to listen to this one?
