Curious About These Custom Horns

I just saw these on ebay and was wondering how they work, is there an advantage to rotating the drivers 180 degrees?

Looks like a smith horn clone though I can't see the vains that are supposed to be inside. There is no advantage at all to doing that aside from the cool factor and seeing the bubble back cover on the 375 driver.

I see. Overall, the visual design of them, as well as some other contaptions he has listed on ebay, are a little too "steam-punk" for my taste.
