I recently found a pair of Altec 814a cardioid loudspeakers for sale on e bay, from the US.
I can only assume after 40/50 years the internal lining will be degraded affecting performance . My question is can anyone advise me before I consider purchase, as shipping to the UK is not cheap, what spec of felt/fibreglass (?) was used in this product so I might be able to replace it?
