Hi,
I got a pair of JBL 500GTI automotiv speakers and was suprised to see that they seemed to be nearly the same drivers as the Studio Monitor Midranges C500G.
The informations I have:
- Same Basket with Neodym Magnet - only without "ears" for screws in the case of the C500G
- 50mm Voice Coil
- Cone, dustcap and suspension looks the same
- T/S Parameters of the 500GTI should work very good as a midrange
- Efficency of the 500GTI is 92-93dB and should also work in the midrange of the LSR32 or LSR6332 speakers
- Crossover of the Monitor is 250Hz,the resonance frequency of the 500GTI is about 100Hz.
It would fit in these datas very good!
Is there a difference?
Has anybody more informations?
