Hi,

I do apologize for the "newbie-ness" of this question, but I did a few searches and fell short. This is my first ever repair, so bear with me :-)

The woofer on my 4406 is no longer working, so I opened it up. The coil for the woofer on the x-over plate is loose and one connection got unsoldererd. So I would like recommandations on what glue / epoxy / etc to use to get the coil securily into place - i.e. replace the orangy paste on the picture below

There seem to be no adhesive directly under the coil / on the plate, which is suprising. Can I just use gorilla glue under there too?

GE Silicone sold at any hardware store. Make sure it is the non acetic acid kind. AKA silicone 2.

Great, thanks. Can I also use glue under the coil (plastic to board) or is that a no-no?

Yes you can use some of that glue under the coil >> but also drill some holes in the pc board and then put a tie-wrap around the coil a-fixing the coil onto the pc board.
