Hi friends,

I've got a vintage JBL system with N7000 (next to LX5) that controls 075 drivers.
If you look at the N7000 (attached pic), you see the JBL volume know showing 1234.
Now, when I checked the speakers, I didn't the tweeter sound at all from one of the speaker.
So, I checked the the volume knob on the back, and turned it to 4, but still no sound.
This time I turned it all the way down until it stops.
Strangely, I started to hear the tweeter at that point this time.
Any idea???

Yeah, your level pad contacts are probably dirty or corroded. Just like any L-pad gets dirty. With the system off, move the knob rapidly over its full several (many) times, rapidly. Then play some tunes and see if it works better before trying some DeOxit on it.

Sure, but they all involve something being mis-wired, loose, or broken. :dont-know:

What should we assume? I’m assuming a three-way system. All drivers have been tested for basic functioning?

Yes, they're JBL Olympus S8R, with LX 5 and N7000.
According to the seller, yes, all drivers have been tested and worked fine.
