I just picked up a JBL SDEC-3500 and would like to load the BSS BLU-160 firmware. I am nearly positive it is a rebadged BLU-160. Can anyone confirm? thx

With no USB jack on the front, then it must be a Blu-160. My SDEC-4500P shows Blu-160 in the LCD display while booting. All of the SDECs after the 3000 seem to be Blu-160s. It's probably just different cards and firmware making the difference between models. I've seen that sometimes the label on the unit has the model no.

Thanks Don C

Do you run HiQnet Audio Architect or London Architect with your SDEC-4500P, or are you using the Synthesis (ARCOS/HATS) software?

Regards, Chad

I have not been able to get the Arcos or HATS to run. It's probably because I have Windows 7 and they want XP. I'm using Audio Architect.
Edit, I don't think that HATS will start unless you have the right hardware. It's a special SDEC unit that they use.
