Members here are not the typical new retail buying public. We are not a significant market segment for sales.
Look at what is in stock at best Buy and similar consumer places.
These days, the typical buyers are into Sound bars and small subs, if at all ...
The average homeowner does not place the same value on having large speakers in their homes as we do -
Big boxes are just not a large sale in the overall scheme of things ...

I do know what you mean - I DO have a vintage 18" JBL subwoofer in my HT room -
but I bought it used at a good price - a lot of audio aficionados can a be frugal lot, too,
not always willing to pay retail prices for things.

Well JBL does if you consider the Sub 18. If one goes to the pro web sight, it can be seen between 2 M2's. It's probably better than a single multiway box with an 18 in it in that the user has a lot more placement flexibility. Or

buy 2 of them and place your M2's or LSR6332's on top of them. One could break leases or ruin foundations world wide.

Even for professional studio and workshop,JBL should issue large 18 in. woofer studio monitor,M2 is not enough,66000,67000 is not for studios.

But someone - is not many. You can not run a business on "...some"

Basically, there is no real demand for big speakers the size of a small refrigerator anymore.

I don't think so,GENELEC and Dynaudio and ATC and PMC are still producing big twin 15 in. or 18 in. woofer monitors
As a professional speaker manufacturer,JBL should has full line productions

Why don’t you go the diy route?

In relation to your earlier question an 18 inch monitor is simply too large dimensionally for today’s recording studios.

Nah, JBL is the bastard stepchild of Samsung these days -
After Paliwali purged most of their classic engineering staff,
then sold off Harman, the parent company,
JBL is not at ALL the company they used to be ...
We may be great fans - but you DO have to face the reality.

DIY will cost me a lot of time and the original units are not so easy to get:crying:

Your priority’s don’t match your expectations

Have you thought about breakfast in America?

Sample the 4345 with a forum member and go home with excess baggage

Bye l am aware of a pair of factory 4345s that might be on the market soon.
