Hello. I bought a crest ca-9 power amp used but back ground noise issue. So I bought a new qsc rmx-2450 which is great but hear this annoying him sound which I think it's coming from the fans feed back . Is there anything I could do to silence the noise or look for a good condition used crown k2 to run my sub. Thanks

Hi Dino,

I would say that you CA9 is faulty. I have had both and I hold CA9 as the better amp. It is more powerfull, has better damp factor and lower noise spec.

If fan noise is a problem you can always look into swapping in low noise computer fans. Please check the Crown CTS fan thread here on LH.
