I've just acquired a clean, tested pair of D123s. When the term "full range" is used, does that mean these speakers can be used without tweeters or mid-ranges? I know it sounds naive, but I'm just not sure. If they require horns or other componenents, I have a pair of custom mid-century cabinets I can use. Help, please.

Of course they can be used by themselves... and they can also be usefully augmented with other drivers.

15KHz may be a bit optimistic, but there is something nice about using a crossover-free system :)
