Noticed the white seals that go on the square base of my 2405 tweeters are missing, might still be at the JBL pro shop but if thet arn't I have the Parts Express 3/8 foam "weatherstripping" that I was planning on useing on all my components going into my L200b speakers. Will the Parts Express "weather stripping" be a good substitute for the 2405 white seals? I'm guessing the seals are used to make a air tight seal between the 2405 tweeter and the baffle board. The 3 1/8" cutouts for the 2405 tweeters is a perfect fit. The cut is very clean and in fact smoother then the factory cuts for the LE85 and 136A.

The "noodle" is available for purchase, no doubt.

Weatherstrip will work as well, just not as "nifty" as the noodle. :)

Thanks Zilch for the info re the 2405 noodles/gaskets. The JBL tech probably forgot to put them back on the tweeters and if they got misplaced I'll have him order a couple new ones. Figured they acted as gaskets and the Parts Expess weather stripping on all the components should make for a tight seal to the baffleboard. Hope to have all my updated L200b components back from the JBL pro shop this week and playing the best Christmas tunes ever.
