According to recent announcements (https://www.cepro.com/article/harman_jbl_sdp_75_surround_processor) JBL decided to use a "tweaked" Trinnov calibration in their new surround processor.

They mention a new and improved target curve - has anybody seen this new curve? I'm curious to how it differs from the SDEC/Arcos curve as that particular curve is basically an industry best practice built upon theory and controlled listening tests.

This is an indirect answer to your question. The direct answer is a mystery for now.

If you don't want to read the whole thing, scroll down to the "New Room Correction Target Curves" heading.

My guess: they now use the Trinnov-processing, and get another target-curve because of that. And then the marketing-department puts some lipstick on that pig-fact ;)

Any updates on this? I'm still curious to see if there are any changes.
