Hello,

I need some help!

I'm thinking of upgrading the passive crossover in my 4645C's with active xo. I have two m-audio delta 410 for this and an available PC, enough amplifier channels and the will to do it, but I'm missing the know-how...

Why?
First off, I'd love to have time-aligned drivers.
Second, there are some audible crossover problems around 500-800 hertz,
Third, I'm beginning to be more and more bothered by the lackluster performance of the 2446h over 7 kHz, so I'm planning on adding some supertweeters in the near future (was thinking of getting new Beyma CP21 or CP25, for about 60 euro/piece seems like a bargain)

There are a series of articles floating around describing the use of BruteFIR and other such contraptions but it all requires a certain amount of programming. There's even a snippet of a forum thread I found somewhere stating that Linux would be a good operating system for such FIR operations.

Did anyone do this?
