Hi Martin,

If You combine the JBL Technical notes (TN v1-33 and -34):

http://www.cieri.net/Documenti/JBL/Technical%20Notes/JBL%20Technical%20Note%20-%20Vol.1,%20No.34.pdf
and
https://www.jblpro.com/pub/technote/JBL_TN%201-33%20rev3.pdf

You will see that 2242 and 2268 , while producing almost the same level of sound ( 115dB / 1m ) would have almost the same distortions up to about 600Hz, over that frequency 2268 has much less distortions then 2242, but using any of them over 500Hz is not he best idea at all.

regards
ivica

It should work fine, might get slightly more output in the loser freq? Retail price for 2242 is aprox twice the price of 2268, (it also weight a lot more If that is a concern)

My mistake , they are 2241h drivers ! Anyway would you believe they need to be raised 5mm otherwise they don't sit flush ! Still sorting things out ....
