View Full Version : Best JBL Service Shop in L.A. area?

Hey All,

The time has come to get my L-150A's woofers and PRs re-edged. I live in Ventura County. Does anyone have any recommendations for a top-quality shop for this job in the greater L.A. area? I'd be willing to drive up to 100 miles or so for the "right" shop.

Evidence is strong that Ken at Upland Speaker is the best...LA is so extensive, and that's on the far side from you, but Ken is a member of this forum; also he's helpful and meticulous. -John Lyons

Ken has done multiple recones for me and they have all turned out great.

OK, thanks guys. I've heard of his shop and yes, it is quite a drive for me but I'm more than willing to make the trip a couple of times if it means getting the job done right.

If you would rather go to Orange County, Speaker Repair Pros in Garden Grove does excellent work. The owner used to be the tech at Orange County Speakers.

OC is a bit further but it's good to have a backup. Thank you.
