I have a 2204 that was wrecked in shipping. There is a break in the outer ring of the basket and one of the spokes is broken in the area where the magnet is. There is no missing aluminum so I was able to pop it back together. The pole piece is not out of center so it survived.
I have a friend who is a machinist who said he can repair the frame easily. I wondering if in anyones experience if its worth the trouble. Even re welded Im sure that the frame is out of round by a few .001's. Has anyone gone through the work of repairing a frame with this kind of damage?
