Is This 2404H-1 Diaphragm Aftermarket?

I bought a couple of 2404 H1 tweeters on ebay with supposedly tested original diaphragms. One diaphragm is shattered, but the good one looks aftermarket to me.

All the original ring radiator dias. I have are brass in color. But, the most important is how it performs. The aftermarket jobs I got stuck with had sub-normal output - 10 db down or more - and response of about 10 - 12 KHz. So, if it plays OK, I'd use it. Otherwise it is a lost cause.

Even if the surviving one is original (they usually have quite a bit of stuff stamped in ink around the outside), you need a new diaphragm for the other - and getting the new one and whatever this one is to play together at the same level will probably be a toss up.

So two new diaphragms will get you going :D

I opened up a pair of 2402's and the diaphragms look the same. They have the original decals on the back, so I'm assuming they are original.

In all of the internet pictures, the diaphragms have brass rings and ink stamped on them.
