Altec series crossover Q question

Hello,

Is there a consensus on which type of crossover Q works best with the Altec series type crossover? I am trying to partner a 419a biflex with 802-8G/32 plastic horn.

Currently, I'm trying Linkwitz Riley and it's great, but wondering if it could be better.

Is there any point to Bessel when the woofer/tweeter in series arrangement bypass the C and L slightly skewing the slope?

Thanks. I've been doing a bit of experimenting and the Bessel curve does sound a bit cleaner. I'm probably going to go Bessel at around 3.2k. I'm a bit lower on the crossover point with the inductors I have on hand.
