Just wanted to start this thread so we can chronicle what we think as we send this amp arround for a "taste test". I have had the amp for a couple of months and have really enjoyed my time with it. I had it paired with my XPL-200 clones and it was a great match! Lows of clean power, very good low end and a clean and detailed migrange and top. One of the things I really liked was the seemingly limitless power reserves the amp had. Always clean always under complete control. The detail in the bass and midrange was very good indeed. I am about to ship it off the Giskard who is the next one in line. If you can sign up for the "Tour" I think you will like what you hear.

Ken I was going by geography. I was closest to Scott and I figure Giskard was closest to me. I remember Tim in Utah I think was interested and you Widget and Bo in CA. Not sure who else.

Excellent!

Be aware that we just launched our "Studio" amplifiers (http://www.pssaudio.com/english/amps.htm), killing our regular amps (PSS600 - 1200 and 2400).

Studio A: 75W+75W at 8 ohms or 150W+150W at 4 ohms, 2x800VA toroid transformers and 2x40 000MF PS capacitors, on/off variable fan, same box than a PSS600-1200 amp, full anodized front panel with no extra openings.

Studio B: 150W+150W at 8 ohms or 300W+300W at 4 ohms, 2x1600VA toroid transformers and 2x60 000MF PS capacitors, on/off variable fan, same box than a PSS2400 amp, full anodized front panel with no extra openings.

And they sound so smooth and powerfull.

Compared to other amps, how would you rank them?
