hi ,
can the jbl s800 synth. be use in a home stereo component system with the pre in ,main out ,or other conn. on a standerd reciever or an integrated amp that does not have the pre in main out jacks, i would like to know if it is possible but with out alot of additional items other then the normal ,(EQ ,normal cords etc.) thinking of buying one but dont want to have to get carried away and have to buy other eqip at this time and use what i have . if anyone can help , i would appretiate the info . could not get the O.M. on jbl.com

Greetings, I am assuming that you mean the use of the JBL S800 power amplifier. I owne one and use it to drive the center channel in bridged mode. It works and sounds great. You will need a preamp to supply the proper input voltage to this amp. It can be a stand alone preamp a receiver with pre out and amp in connections or a source with a built in preamp. I'm not sure theres any other way. Hope this helps. Dennis
