What's the deal with this soundtrack on Lp - why the crazy money? Sonic spectacular? Music just that good on this pressing?

The audio CD of this music as well as the motion picture are still readily available and quit affordable

I am intrigued by this as none of his other scores seem to enjoy this high price tag, regardless of format

Does anyone own this recording on Lp. and if so, would you mind sharing? Thank you

Might just be supply and demand. I have the soundtrack to Witches of Eastwick by John Williams. About 15 years ago I noticed they were selling on ebay for $30-40. Now, they sell for $2.00.

Years ago, I wanted a particular Robin Trower CD, but it was only available as a used import and regularly went for over $100. All of a sudden, a new remastered version was released for around $15 and the prices of the used imports fell overnight to $10!

Hello and thank you
The music is readily available in a multitude of formats
It's just this double Lp is what's realizing original Blue Note deep groove type bucks and I can't find out just exactly why?

All of his stuff on Lp seems to do well, but this particular title is off the charts - and I am bewildered that I can't find the reason behind it
