Hi there,

years ago i repaired some JBL L50 Speakers. After two days of playing they had their final sound with the new foam rings.
That was the beginning of my JBL story.

..and here we go,my actual system is:

Tweeter: 2405 Al,8000 - Hz
Mid:2445h in DIY multicell horn,800 - 8000 Hz
Bass/mid:2225h,55 - 800 Hz
Bass :2234, - 55 Hz
The 2 big cabinets have kind of a "Matrix" inside and the 2234 has a front made of concrete.

I use a Omnitronic dxo26e for the 2234 and a Behringer DCX2496 for the rest.
Amplifiers are a Rotel RB956 with six channels and a SMSL-30 for the tweeter.
Main source is a Thinkpad with a couple of harddiscs full of FLAC , that goes over Foobar2000 and Voicemeeter into the crossover.
REW says, it is quite ok.

I reconed the 2234 on my own, preferring the faster and louder 2234 to the deeper 2235.

The next neighbour is at least 400 m away...thank god.

I still have 2 additional ways as an option , but should i go from 4-Way to 5-Way ?
And I still could get some 2202 and some 2420 for a reasonable price , but is it worthwhile ?
