Hi,

I have 4648 (4508) matched with 2360A on top of them. The front of the horn 2360A naturally exceeds the front of the 4648 of about 6 to 8 inches. If I move my horns 2360A backwards so the front is aligned with the 4648, will it impact the sound?

Will it have an impact on the phase of the speakers?

Thanks!

Ideally, diaphragm and cone shall be aligned. Which is not physically possible. You may want to add some delay to the woofers.

thanks Mr.Lee

Indeed, the driver of the 2360 is very backward, even in normal position.
So I was wondering if I was going back another 8 inches if the sound output would be affected

Not being aligned, sources will not give their optimal. Will you perceive it? It depends on your ears. I have a digital crossover and realigned them.
