I got a pair of 4315 with reconed 2108H mids. But the cones look different to the original ones. When I pulled the speakers I saw on the backside a JBL Pro stamp and "112H" written with white chalk. The speakers where reconed by Audio Pro, the German JBL pro dealer as is to be seen by the repair sticker on the basket. Is this a correct recone for the 2108 H ?

Yes ( & you're lucky even to have that / so don't ruin it ).

The ribbed (re)cone went the way of the Dodo some years back.

Now ( what you have there ) is also extinct and NLA ( or so it has been reported ).

:)

PS; there was a thread where Giskard ( 4313B ) reported all this some years ago, as well as how much specific weight ( in aquaplas ) he added to the newer recone kits to match up with the older ribbed cone style ( this is something beyond the capability of virtually all users ).
