I've done a little researching, and it appears that dating JBL products is not that easy. Am I correct? I found a pair of C51 Apollos with LX5 crossovers and L91 horns (not sure about the woofers--haven't opened them up yet to see the backs). But they're sequential serial numbers on the cabs and appear to be in fine, original condition. Any suggestions on how to at least estimate a date, and is there any literature that might tell me some more about them (not sure where to look because I'm not sure of their approx. date)? Thanks for any and all help.

There is a thread around here that has been used to store all the sequential serial numbers on the drivers. Someone may chime in. I put my C-51 numbers there for mine. I'll try to hunt it down.
