Quoted from over at AVSforum. Did not see it announced over here, where there are quite a few LEAP users.

It saddens me to announce to the community that we lost Chris Strahm; owner and lead engineer of Linear X, he has passed away.

That's a bummer.

Smart guy that Chris. Pure scientist. If a question could be answered precisely with one word, thats what you got.

I hope the best for his bride, Suzi? I am bad with names. She is always sweet on the phone.

I hope LEAP lives on.

Barry.

I have never used Leap but most likely benefited from it's availability. My prayers go out to his family and those that were close to him.

Thanks,
Scott

Truly truly sad, another casualty of 2016 ( man what a horrible year for those in the biz ).

Jeez, barely 60 years old ( younger than one of my 2 youngest brothers ). This is much too young.

Anyways, there's a very nice introspective written up by Vance Dickason in this months Voice Coil magazine . (http://www.audioxpress.com/page/Voice-Coil-Magazine)
- Some nice testimonials by JBL's Mark Gander , Cal Perkins & Dr. Richard Cabot.

( Interested parties should be able to read the e-magazine as a guest ).

Sadly, I can't copy the text into this forum .

RIP. :(

No, there are the first 15 pages for free preview, but nothing on LEAP or Chris available in the preview section.
