2108 out of 2118 ?

I have 6 pcs 2118 with burned coils that need to be reconed. As I want to build a 4315 project I like to know if the 2118 is a good replacement for the 2108 or is it possible to recone the 2118 to a 2108 ?

I think the 2118 has a 2 in voice coil and the 2108 has the 3 in v.c.
Also be aware of the 2118 and the 2108 has a totally different T/S parameters
