Hey everybody. Anyone have experience with the SK2-3300? I'm thinking it might make a good center channel? Opinions?
Thanks!

Short answer: yes, it should.
Using an array 880 with SAMs and couldn't be (much) happier.

Long answer: What would you be using them with? A pair of 9900 or 66000 would not be out of place in terms of matching timbre.
-Could- be extreme overkill and non-optimal with other systems.

I've read reports from people using them for L-C-R that were pretty positive.

My buddy uses one in his system and likes it quite a bit. They do sound a lot better in my experience when pulled out away from boundaries though.

Since getting the K2s he has sold the left and right ones and patched up the wall where they were.

I used three SK2-1000 (same drivers, but older model) for a couple of years as LCR and they are fantastic speakers. In my experience, they require more attention to sound optimal than other speakers. I have heard more succesful demos with the cheaper SAM3 speaker than the SK2 speaker. But on the other hand, when the SK2s have been calibrated properly, the SAM3s didn't have a fighting chance.
